Gospel forgeries are often detected by the historical mistakes their author's make, The most important kind of mistake for detecting Gospel forgeries are anachronisms. An anachronism is something out of its proper place in time. Here is how one dictionary defines the word:
When we read in the Aquarian Gospel of Jesus Christ, we begin to run into anachronisms in the very first verse of the very first chapter.
Having Jesus born before Mary is an anachronism. And throughout the Aquarian Gospel there are a number of more serious anachronisms as well.
(1) The Aquarian Gospel has Jesus minister in Persepolis in Persia "the city where the kings of Persia were entombed. (Aquarian Gospel 38:6)
(2) The Aquarian Gospel has Jesus visit Abraham & Sarah's city of Ur (Aquarian Gospel 42), were, it says, some of their kind were still living (Aquarian Gospel 42:7)
But this is another anachronism, becase Ur was no longer inhabited after the abandonment of the city in around 300 B.C.
(3) The Aquarian Gospel has Jesus visit the Dalai-Lama's city of Lhasa in Tibet (Aquarian Gospel 36)
(4) Among the musical instruments the Aquarian Gospel mentions is the harpsichord. In chapter 53 verse 5 Jesus sits in a thoughtful mood inspecting a harpsichord, and then a Hindu healer named Udraka likens the human body to a harpsichord in chapter 22 verses 9 and 17:
"The body is a harpsichord, and when its strings are too relaxed, or are too tense, the instrument is out of tune, the man is sick… A thousand things produce in harmony and make men sick; a thousand things may tune the harpsichord, and make men well." (AG 22:9,17). Problem is, harpsichords weren't invented until the late Middle Ages, centuries after the time of Jesus.

(5) The Aquarian Gospel 26:1 has Jesus preaching to thousands in the city of Cuttack (Katak), Orissa, India.
But that city wasn't founded until 989 A.D.
